2. Service Description
JobHack is a digital recruitment platform facilitating virtual hiring processes. Registered businesses can create profiles, post job vacancies, and manage recruitment activities. Candidates can create their profiles, browse vacancies, and apply to roles.
3. User Responsibilities
- Businesses
– Must use JobHack solely for recruitment purposes and in full compliance with UK Employment Law, Anti-Slavery Act, Equality Act, GDPR, and any other relevant legislation.
– Must not engage in inappropriate or unlawful communications with candidates, nor post any material unrelated to legitimate recruitment purposes.
– Shall not use JobHack to recruit for roles prohibited under UK law or roles that involve illegal activities or unregulated sectors.
– Must ensure job advertisements and interactions respect candidate privacy, without harassment, discrimination, or misleading information. - Candidates
– Must use JobHack solely to search for employment or internship opportunities, upload accurate professional information, and refrain from any offensive language or inappropriate conduct.
– Shall avoid uploading irrelevant, non-professional content, and must promptly report any violations to [email protected]. - Prohibited Content
– Both businesses and candidates are prohibited from posting or sharing explicit, offensive, or illegal content, including but not limited to discriminatory language, harassment, and deceptive materials.
– JobHack reserves the right to review and remove content it deems in violation of these Terms.
4. Account Creation and Termination
To access our services, businesses and candidates must create profiles. Required information includes the user’s name and contact details. For account deletion or exercising the right to be forgotten, users must email their request to [email protected].
5. Content Ownership and License
By uploading content, businesses grant JobHack Ltd. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images or videos for recruitment marketing and social media purposes, strictly for promoting the vacancy and JobHack’s services.
6. Service Availability and Disclaimers
While JobHack aims to ensure continuous availability, it cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and may occasionally experience downtime for maintenance or unforeseen technical issues. JobHack is not liable for any failure to fulfill vacancies or delays caused by technical or user issues.
7. Limitations of Liability
JobHack shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or reputational damage arising from the use of its services. JobHack is not responsible for the suitability, qualifications, or conduct of any candidates or employers using the platform.
8. Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising from these Terms or use of the JobHack platform should first be addressed through mediation. Unresolved disputes may then proceed to legal arbitration in accordance with UK jurisdiction.
9. Modifications to Terms
JobHack reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
